If you haven’t already read my article on Straight Talk Wireless, you might not be aware that Straight Talk is one of the best deals in cellular.
There is some mystery around Straight Talk, and I hope to answer today one of the most frequently asked questions regarding Straight Talk:
Can I use my existing Verizon / AT&T / T-Mobile / Sprint / Tracphone / etc cellular phone?
The answer depends on the type of phone that you have. Keep reading for more information
AT&T, T-Mobile or Unlocked GSM Phones
You can now take advantage of Straight Talk SIM, to use your existing phone on Straight Talk’s no-contract plans. To take advantage of this, you simply order a SIM card from Straight Talk, place that SIM card into your phone and follow a few simple instructions.
Note: This does not include AT&T Go Phones.
Verizon, Sprint or Unlocked CDMA Phones
Much like AT&T/T-Mobile, it is possible to take your Verizon or Sprint Wireless device and use it with Straight Talk on the Verizon or Sprint network through Straight Talk’s Bring your own CDMA Phone Program.
Note: This does not include Verizon Prepaid phones or Sprint prepaid phones.
Other Unlocked Phones
Unlocked phones will almost always work on Straight Talk as long as they support the bands needed to communicate with the Straight Talk towers. You might try contacting Straight Talk Customer Support to verify before purchasing a SIM, to make sure you purchase the correct one for your device.
Anything Else
If you have a locked phone that is not from postpaid AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint the answer is: Probably not; proceed at your own risk.
Here is a list of the types of phones that won’t work unless they are unlocked:
- US Cellular Phones
- C Spire Wireless Phones
- nTelos Wireless Phones
- Metro PCS Phones
- Verizon Prepaid Phones
- AT&T Go Phones
- Total Wireless Phones
- TracFone Phones
- SafeLink Phones
- NET10 Phones
- Straight Talk Phones
- Boost Mobile Phones
- Virgin Mobile Phones
- Cricket Phones
- Republic Wireless Phones
- PagePlus Phones
- BlackBerry Phones (may not work even if unlocked)
- Nextel Phones (may not work even if unlocked)
What if my phone won’t work?
- Sell your old phone on eBay, Craigslist or Amazon Marketplace.
- Buy a compatible phones on Amazon, eBay, or you can buy one directly from Straight Talk. Your best bet will be unlocked phones, but you can also find some good deals on phones that are locked to Verizon, Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile.
Get up and Running on Straight Talk
As you read above, many phones are eligible to run on Straight Talk, but there are some that will not work. If you have any questions about if your phone will work, see our article what phones work with Straight Talk and Net 10 BYOD SIM cards.
I have an AT&T phone,A Rugby II. I have this phone because I am in the construction field and need a rugged phone. I allso have 270 phone numbers programed into this phone. I just switched to Straighttalk and nobody says I can still use the Rugby. I have got the unlock code from AT&T for the rugby, but I can’t unlock it. I would like to use this phone on the Straighttalk network, along with the 270 phone numbers I have in the phone. If I can’t find a way to do this,I probably will discontinue Staightalk. Any advice? Thanks,
Tim Lipe
Tim, You should be able to use the Rugby II without having it unlocked. If you purchase a Straight Talk SIM you can place it in this phone and have it working without unlocking the phone. See my article “What Phones Work with the new Straight Talk SIM Cards?” for more information
I have a samsung galaxy 2 its with us celluar , can i switch it to a straight talk plan
You maybe can, if you get your phone unlocked and use Straight Talk’s Bring Your Own CDMA phone activation kit.
Can you use a boost mobile phone on straight talk……the lg marqee
Luis, Thanks for your question.
No, you cannot use a Boost Mobile phone on Straight Talk, as Straight Talk uses a different network than Boost Mobile. See the posting above for an explanation of what phones do and don’t work with Straight Talk SIM.
Can I use the zte speed 4g LTE boost mobile phone for straight talk plan?
No, this probably won’t work.
Used Independence and AnySIM for the unlock. Wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be under 1.1.1 had to roll back to 1.0.2, apply a patch, upgrade to 1.1.1 and then used AnySIM. I thought it was a one click affair with the AnySIM app and 1.1.1. There is a newer beta that seemed to just come out that skips a few steps but there was a lot of disclaimers about it being very beta.
I am thinking about purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S (2) Skyrocket from ebay, its originally from AT&T. Would it be possible for me to use this phone on Straight talk? If so, will there be any disadvantage on the service and the phone itself?.
your respond is greatly appreciated.
thank you.
Hi Pam,
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S 2 (also called Samsung Galaxy S II) Skyrocket will work with Straight Talk, as it is an AT&T phone that operates on the 850/1900 Mhz bands.
There won’t be any significant disadvantages on the service other than that you will be getting 3G service instead of 4G service with AT&T (though 4G service is not available in all markets yet). There will be no difference on the phone itself – it will operate exactly the same.
Let us know how it works out for you!
Thanks for your question.
yes i was wondering if my samsung tranform will work with straight talk. its through sprint right now. but im thinking of switching to straight talk to save more money. my bill is way too high and prepaid is way cheaper.
Jackie, The Samsung Transform will not work with Straight Talk SIM. It is a CDMA phone. You would have to get another phone. Perhaps pick up a cheap used phone, or check out the Android or regular offerings from Straight Talk. See the other articles on this site for more information.
Is it possible to use a tmobile blackberry curve 8530 with straight talk? And if it is….what is involved in switching it over.
Thanks
Mike, To date the word from Straight Talk is that they do not support blackberry. It’s possible you could get the phone to work as a phone, but it is unclear if any of the other features would work.
Is it possible to use a virgin mobile galaxy phone on straight talk phone?
Sorry, no
Is there a way to get a at&t lg encore gophone to work on straight talk. I know the talk and text is just a matter of putting the sim card in but the gophone apn settings are not able to be changed to my knowledge. Can this be setup to use the emai/web services on the phone?
Thanks
Mike,
I am unsure on that. You may want to contact Straight Talk customer service before you proceed. Or you can just give it a try and at most you’ll be out about $60. However, for that price you might just consider getting a phone you know will work with Straight Talk.
can iuse lg a340 with straighttalk sim card dose it have to be unlocked
i talked to st talk they said the lga340 had to be unlocked so what can i do thanks
dose this work with a droidx or a iphone
Austin, I would need the model number from your Droid X to be sure, without it I can’t say. Yes it does work on the iPhone. Sometimes there are special conditions, see What Phones Work with the new Straight Talk SIM Cards? for more information.
I have an htc sprint phone. Could I transfer my number from my current straight talk phone to the htc sprint phone, but continue buying plans from straight talk?
Kourtnee, No, your Sprint phone cannot be transferred to Straight Talk. See Using a phone from another carrier on Straight Talk Wireless for more information.
Hey i have a Samsung charge,is it possible for it to be used as a straighttalk phone? Will a straighttalk sim card work or can it be used?
AJ,
The SAMSUNG Charge is a Verizon phone and cannot be used with Straight Talk SIM.
I have a Devour smart phone that I bought from Verizon. Is this possible to transfer my straight talk plan to this phone?
Kris,
No, in general you cannot use a Verizon phone with Straight Talk unless it is an unlocked, dual-band phone.
Hi, I was wondering if a virgin mobile phone would work through straight talk. I have a LG Android phone. Could I just put a straight talk sim card in and use straight talk service?
Sydnie,
No. Virgin Mobile phones cannot be used with Straight Talk.
hey i have an unlocked htc pro2, will i be able to use a straight talk sim in it for service
Phil,
Yes, you should be able to use the HTC pro2 on Straight Talk SIM, as it is a GSM phone.
I really want to buy an LG Rumor from Virgin Mobile, can I use that phone with a straight talk plan?
Chesery,
No, you cannot use Virgin Mobile phones with a Straight Talk plan.
can you use a virgin mobile on straight talk, i have a venture
Vany,
No, you cannot use Virgin Mobile phones with Straight Talk.
I have had service with straight talk for almost 2 years, not even a month ago I purchased an android phone, I busted the screen and didnt get insurance on the phone, I cannot afford a new phone at this time so I wanted to know if my straight talk SIM from my broken phone would work in an at&t phone that took a SIM card?
Whitney,
If it was a Straight Talk Android phone, it probably won’t work. If it was another Android phone that you purchased a Straight Talk SIM for, it probably will work.
If the SIM doesn’t work, just spend the $15 and get a Straight Talk SIM, or get another Straight Talk phone (prices start at free).
I have at&t service now. I have an iphone and an lg thrill and a sa7msung go phone on this plan. We have lousy service at home and so at&t sent me a mocrocell. we now have great service at home. Do you know if the microcell will work with my phones if i switch them to straight talk? And do you happen to know what at&t will have to say about the microcell when i cancel my current plan?
Alisa,
Unfortunately I do not know of any prepaid / no-contract carrier that supports Microcells. The only thing close to that would be t-mobile or republic wireless, both of which support Wi-Fi calling.
I am not sure what AT&T will have you do with the microcell once your plan is canceled.
can i use a blackberry curve from verizon with straight talk?
Taylor, No – you cannot port a Verizon phone to Straight Talk. However, Page Plus does allow the porting of Verizon phones to their prepaid program. Check them out, and also check out PhoneBillCut.com to compare all of your prepaid options.
I have an At&T HTC Inspire 4g. I was wondering if I can use it on straight talk and what I need to do. Will data and pic messaging work if I can get straight talk on this phone? Thanks
The AT&T HTC Inspire 4G should work fine on Straight Talk SIM. Picture messaging may or may not work, if that is important to you contact Straight Talk Customer support before ordering.
Hello,
I’m am very confused on weather you can switch a sprint/ verison . moblie phone to straight talk network ? so talk to me. I just bought a lg optimus elite phone and i would like to switch it over to straight talk, is this possible?
Meesha, You cannot use a Sprint phone with the Straight Talk SIM program.
Meesha, You cannot use a Sprint phone with the Straight Talk SIM program.
can i use my pantech burst on straight talk?
Yes, the Pantech Burst is an AT&T phone, so you should be able to use it with Straight Talk SIM.
does this phoe has a sims card Samsung T528G GSM
Terry,
This phone might work if it is unlocked. It might not work unless it is unlocked, depending on which carrier it was with originally. You might want to call Straight Talk customer support on this as it appears that this is a Straight Talk phone to begin with and they might just be able to send you a replacement SIM.
Can I switch a Verizon phone that uses a SIM card to straight talk?
People have reported success with this if you have the phone unlocked first.
I have a boost mobile, the phone I have is a samsung transform can I convert it to straight talk ?
You cannot use most Boost Mobile phones, including the Samsung Transform with Straight Talk because they are CDMA phones.
I am getting an Iphone 4 and was wanting to know if the micro sim is all I need to get started. Does the phone have to be reprogrammed, if so what does it cost to get it running? I am hoping to have a quick and easy activation. Do I need an ESN# or any other kind of number??
Rhandi,
So long as your iPhone is locked to AT&T or T-Mobile OR unlocked, the following is true. All you need to do is to purchase the SIM, follow the given instructions and you should be operational. Sometimes people have issues with MMS, if you use that you may need to work with Straight Talk customer support to get it working. Be sure to use the links above and Mr. Rebates to save the most on your SIM & Service Card purchase!
Will my gs3 work with straightalk? Sprint? If not can I flash/unlock?
Assuming you are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S III, (3) – This phone will work great on Straight Talk if it is the GSM variant. If you have it through Sprint it is the CDMA variant and it will not work.
Will my samsung galaxy.s3 originally from verizon..clean ESN.etc. Work with.the straight talk SIM?
No, CDMA phones do not work with Straight Talk SIM. Check out PagePlus, or sell the SIII and get an unlocked GSM phone.
I have a samsung galaxy s 3,right now I have a contract with Verizon, when my contract runs out can I use my phone with straight talk?
Thanks for your question. No, you cannot use the CDMA Samsung Galaxy S III (3) on Straight Talk. Try Page Plus instead if you want to stay on the Verizon network, or just sell your S3 and pick up a GSM S3 or another phone that will work on Straight Talk.
I have a T-Mobile Samsung galaxy S II, will that work to switch to straight talk?
Yes, it will. You don’t even need to unlock the phone, it will just work. Use the links above to order a SIM Today!
will a dell streak 5 work on straight talk and if so what sim card should i buy
the dell streak 5 is unlocked and i would like to keep 3g speeds
Yes, The Dell Streak 5 should work on Straight Talk. It looks like it takes a mini-SIM, so buy a regular SIM from Straight Talk and trim it down to size if needed.
Hi, I have an HTC Incredible 2 ADR6350 on the Verizon Network. According to this article
http://techtips.salon.com/convert-verizon-wireless-phones-straight-talk-20453.html
I can convert my phone. Is this correct? If not then do you have any suggestions for a comparable phone?
Also what about bringing contacts over? Thanks
Josh,
The procedure that Salon lists may work, but likely violates the Straight Talk terms of service. They do not allow “Bring your Own Phone” for Verizon CDMA phones, only GSM phones. They do sell a handful of phones that work on the Verizon network, including the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, which is a nice little phone and it is the only legitimate way to get a Android Smartphone on the Verizon network through Straight Talk. To bring over your contacts – if you have an Android phone now, sync the contacts to your Google account (they may already be) and then when you sign into your new phone, the contacts will be there.
I purchased an unlocked GSM Samsung Galaxy S2 T989 and want to use it with my Straight Talk $45 service plan. What all do i need to do to get it to work correctly?
All you need to do is use the links above to go to the Straight Talk site & their wizard will walk you through the process. If you have any more questions, stop back and ask!
I need to know if i can use my old EVO phone from an old Sprint account. I have dropped and broke my LG phone with Straight Talk. Please reply back.
If your old phone is a GSM phone, Yes, so long as you have the phone unlocked first.
Hi im planning on getting a samsung galaxy s2 4g phone from walmart. It is ran by Family Mobile. Would i be able to put a Straight Talk sim in the phone and have Straight Talk service?
Yes
Can I use an unlocked Sprint Samsung GSIII on straight talk service?
Yes, but you will probably also have to root the phone to make it work.
I have an HTC alltel phone can I switch that straight talk?
No, Alltel is a CDMA network. Check out Straight Talk’s selection of phones starting at free, that might be good and inexpensive replacements for your phone.
can i use the galaxy s2 from boost on straight talk?
No, boost uses CDMA
does the at&t motorola atrix hd work for straight talk?
Yes, it will
I have a iPhone 4 through AT&T I am currently on the unlimited go phone phone plan which will not give me data was wondering if I could use the phone I have now on straight talk and if I will get my data?? Thanks in advance!!!
You can take your iPhone to Straight Talk and get data back.
I have the AT&T inspire G4, Will I still be able to use the hotspot and Wifi? or will I need to download an app for it to work agen and or need to root the phone?
I believe the hotspot will work, but I also believe it may be against Straight Talk’s terms of service. Check the fine print before signing up to avoid a surprise!
Hello, i was wanting to switch over to straight talk, however i was wanting to see if the htc titan II from att will work on straight talk without losing data spead or unable to send picture messages.
You can take this phone to Straight Talk. You might lose the ability to send picture messages, but most people have been able to get this to work.
Am I able to port my verizon phone number to a straight talk phone. My plan is up and I am paying month to month. I use my phone as a business phone and cannot lose the phone number.
Yes, you can port your Verizon number, but you won’t be able to take your Verizon phone to Straight Talk. If you get a new phone with Straight Talk, you can absolutely port the number. Keep paying Verizon until the number port request goes through, at which point your contract will be cancelled.
Hi Wish,
If I buy the note from AT&T or maybe Sprint can I use it with Straight Talk’s service? I read about the CDMA on other posts just still want to clarify this. It is really messed up that you have to buy another of the same phone just to use a cheaper phone service….
Anyway, let me know.
thanks
Lisamarie
Lisa, If you are going to buy an unlocked note – check the links above for the Galaxy Note, which will take you to Amazon.com, who has a great return policy and a great selection of phones. Also, check out ebay.com if you’re willing to take more risk but save more.
It seems odd that you need to purchase a more expensive phone to save money on your phone contract, but the TRUTH is that you are paying for that phone through high monthly rates on the contract carriers. So, pay a little bit more up front and a good deal less every month for 2 years – and you can save thousands!
I want to go to boost mobile, can i take my straighttalk phone number with me? If so what is the process, what will i need…I like straighttalk, but the reception in my area is very bad, no matter the phone.
Yes, I believe you can transport your Straight Talk number to any carrier. Keep your Straight Talk service current, then sign up for Boost and request a number port.
Why cant a lg optimus showtime work in my area when i hear its a verizon type phone and im around verizon towers
Because Straight Talk does not support you bringing your own Verizon phone. They use the Verizon network, but only if you purchase a CDMA phone from them.
Im thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy II, its sprint, and has a bad esn. Is it possible to get it on straighttalk unlimited plan with a sim card?
No, you cannot use a Sprint phone on Straight Talk SIM.
Try PagePlus.
You can’t really use any phone anywhere that has a bad ESN number.
Can i use my att blackberry torch on a straight talk service sim?
Yes, However you will need to get an AT&T SIM. If ST is out, check Net 10 & the secondary market.
Ok i have a samsung galaxy exhibit 2 4g would that work with straight talk??? it does is under contract
Yes it will work
Will an LG Slender work on straight talk?
Yes, It is a T-Mobile phone and will work with the ST T-Mobile SIM.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S from Sprint and was wondering if i could switch it to straight talk? I also have an HTC Inspire from ATT and was wondering if that would work?
Sprint = No
AT&T Phone = Yes, make sure to get an AT&T SIM. Net 10 has these available directly, Straight Talk has them on the secondary market.
What about Samsung GS3 from US Cellular?
US Cellular phones won’t work with any current ST program. Sell it and get a Verizon phone (port using CDMA Bring Your Own) or any unlocked GSM phone (port using Straight Talk SIM)
Wise Finish,
I have a very old Straight Talk phone (Samsung) it does NOT have a sim card. I was given a newer AT&T Samsung phone which takes a SIM card…Can I switch to that without having to purchase the $45 plan a the $30 is all I need and have used since Straight Talk has been available? Your help would be appreciated. So glad I found your page.
You cannot switch to that phone without buying the $45 plan. The $30 plan only works with Straight Talk branded phones.
What you CAN do though is run your new phone on another carrier that supports AT&T, like H20 Wireless or Red Pocket Mobile. They sell the AT&T SIM and offer a variety of plans to meet your needs at a lower cost. Straight Talk only allows the $45/month plan with their SIM Card. Check out https://phonebillcut.com to compare your options.
I have had ST for about 5 years with a phone that doesn’t have a SIM, it is very old. I have been given a Samsung newer phone than mine it is an AT&T with AT&T Sim; can I transfer my ST phone number to this new (old) phone without having to purchase the $45 plan when the $30 is enough?
No. If you need a lower priced plan and want to stay on AT&T, check out H2O Wireless or Red Pocket Mobile.
Thanks, but I live in the UP of MI and we only have the options of Verizon and At&t in cell service. I ended up having to purchase another ST Verizon phne for over $100 without sim card and it Sucks! No cell reception at all. I only have the $30 plan but not really worth it at all.
Yes, I know the cell service in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is limited. I would suggest returning the ST phone if it is not working for you (they allow this).
If Verizon will work for you, check out Page Plus. If AT&T will work for you, check out Red Pocket Mobile or H2O Wireless if you are looking to stay on a cheaper-than-the-unlimited plan for around $30. Check out https://phonebillcut.com for more options.
Thank you! I will check into the AT&T one.
CAN I USE A SAMSUNG BLAZE FROM TMOBILE WITH STRAIGHT TALK?
Yes
Is a Motorola razr v3 from alltel compatible with straight talk? Is this a Verizon phone?
This is basically a Verizon phone so it may work with the Verizon BYOD program. Punch in your info and see if ST says it will work.
Would the iphone 4 work with straight talk
Yes, see our article on iPhones and Straight Talk
I have a galaxy s 3 for us cellular. Is it compatible with straight talk?
No, US Cellular phones will not work on Straight Talk SIM. You could try punching in the information to the Straight Talk BYOP CDMA Program to see if it will accept the phone.
if I have an alltel Iphone 5 that hasnt been activated yet can I activate it with a straight talk unlimited plan?
Very unlikely – Though you could try following the instructions in our article to see if Straight Talk recognizes the phone as activatible on their network.
I have a Alltel samsung galaxy s2 can I use it on straight talk.
It may work with the Straight Talk Verizon BYOP Program, since Alltel & Verizon are one. Punch in the ESN following the instructions in the linked article and see if ST says it is good. Let us know how it goes please!
HTC Evo 4G Unlocked Mobile Phone CDMA Black With SIM Card Slot – buying it on ebay from china can i use it on straightalk?
You might be able to through the SIM or CDMA Bring Your Own Phone programs, but this would be a risky purchase as neither may work.
I have an unlocked ATT i847 Samsung Rugby phone. Can this be used on Striaght Talk service. I have a friend who has Straight Talk and I put her sim card in my phone and I could make calls, but not access the internet.
Yes. If you get a SIM from Straight Talk it will work fine.
Make sure your APN settings are correct for proper data function: http://straighttalksim.com/support-data.php#att
I have a T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide that I want to convert to a straight talk plan. It was originally a contract phone and has not had service for some time. Can someone tell me if this is possible and point me in the direction to get it up and running. Thanks!
This is possible. Just buy a Straight Talk SIM, put it into the phone and activate your phone with the included instructions.
I currently have straight talk. I was wondering if I have a iphone 4 from Verizon, if I can use it on straight talk. Also my area offers both AT&T and Verizon coverage, I want to stick with the Verizon coverage because I get no signal with AT&T, is there anything that I should be looking at more carefully when buying a phone to use?
Mike, You cannot use a Verizon iPhone on Straight Talk at this time, as they are explicitly excluded. Verizon wants to keep the premium features – LTE & iPhones – for their big dollar contract plans.
Check out Page Plus – they might be able to take your iPhone just fine – they also use the Verizon network. Check out Phone Bill Cut to compare your options and learn more about Page Plus.
When buying phones in the future, if Verizon is all that works, then just keep getting Verizon phones and running them on a no-contract network.
If AT&T or T-Mobile work in your area, then get an unlocked GSM phone, which will give you the most freedom in the US and abroad.
A store near me advertises that you can “bring your own phone” to Straight Talk and any CDMA phone will work. I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 on Virgin Mobile. I can’t find anywhere whether I can switch it to Straight Talk or not.
Punch in the info on Straight Talk’s site and see if it works.
What phone can i use that compares with a htc thunderbolt? Thanks
Try an unlocked Google Nexus 4 on the Net 10 SIM program.
If I buy an iphone, can I still use my phone # from my current virgin phone and switch to straight talk?
Yes, you can
Can I use my Verizon Samsung Galaxy 3 for straight talk?
No, you can’t use your Galaxy S III on Straight Talk Berizon BYOP because it is a 4G LTE phone and Verizon is not permitting them on anything but their contract network.
Sell it and get either a 3G Verizon phone (if you must have Verizon) or consider buying an unlocked GSM version of the Galaxy S III and using that with Straight Talk SIM.
I want know will you need to unlock the phones from other companies for the straight talk to work or can you just put the sim in the phone and have it work that way
It depends.
If the phone is Verizon, you can convert it using Straight Talk’s Verizon Bring Your Own Phone Program.
If the phone is AT&T, you can convert it using Straight Talk’s SIM Program normally – though they are out right now so use a Net 10 SIM (sister company) instead.
If the phone is T-Mobile you can convert it using Straight Talk’s SIM Program normally – choose a T-Mobile SIM.
If the phone is GSM unlocked you can convert it to Straight Talk’s SIM program.
Anything else, sell it and get a phone like the above. Thanks!
im currently a verizon customer but want to switch to straight talk and have to break my contract. can i use my Android RAZR M?
The RAZR M is a 4G LTE smartphone and they are not currently supported by Straight Talk’s Bring your own CDMA phone program, nor by Page Plus.
Suggestion: Sell the phone, break the contract, and get a new phone (Nexus 4?) and run it on the carrier of your choice.
I wrote on here the other day and I checked the two boxes to notify me of new comments and follow up comments on here and I keep receiving emails. How do I block it now that u answered my question?
My brother has a Sprint iPhone 4. It was previously activated with Sprint, but now it’s disconnected. How could he convert the service over to Straight Talk?
First, he would need to get the phone unlocked & jailbroken. Then he could place a GSM SIM card from Straight Talk into the phone. You may need to use something like the Gevey SIM as well to make it work.
Straight talk will activate a Sprint note 2, based on what we were told, it will be on Sprint’s network not Verizon. Found this out after much aggravation.
That’s correct. Unlocked CDMA & Sprint locked CDMA will almost always activate on Sprint, depending on your zip code.
I have a alltel galaxy s3 can I use it on straighttalk
Go to to Straight Talk SIM or Net 10 SIM to check the IMEI.
