Phones that will work with Mint Mobile Bring Your Own Phone
(1) Look below at the list of phones & make sure your phone is unlocked or locked to T-Mobile; then it will work on Mint Mobile.
(2) If your phone is not on the list, it may still work if it is unlocked, or locked to Sprint. Also, please make sure your phone is not on the list of “Phones that won’t work” at the bottom of this article.

If the original carrier for these phones was not T-Mobile, the phone will likely need to be unlocked to work with Mint Mobile. Buying a New or Used Phone for Mint Mobile Bring Your Own Phone
If you are looking to get a phone for use with Mint Mobile’s Bring Your Own Phone program, here’s what I would recommend:
Your best bet is going to be to look for a true unlocked phone, one that was unlocked from the beginning. Use any of the links above to find unlocked versions of those phones.
However – you may also be able to save some money by buying a used, locked phone from T-Mobile. Only buy a locked phone on T-Mobile, any other locked phone will not work!

Some phones, particularly international / imported phones will also not work on Mint Mobile, even if they are unlocked, as they do not support the correct frequency bands. Check Frequency Check if you have one of these types of phones, to verify that it will work on the network that you wish to use on Mint Mobile.
