Timewise Firefox Extension

Timewise Firefox ExtensionTimewise is a Firefox extension that I am currently developing. The extension is designed to prompt you with a series of questions when accessing certain websites. The main idea is to help you achieve your goals & stop procrastinating. Timewise does this by questioning you when you start accessing websites that are “black holes” for your time.

The idea is this: You find yourself spending an inordinate amount of time on Facebook or other social networking sites.  You want to spend some time on Facebook, but you often go there forgetting about the real important priorities of the day: perhaps spending time reading, exercising, studying, doing chores, etc.

Timewise will, as soon as you access one of the sites in your “check” list, prompt you with a series of questions that you specify, such as: “Did you exercise today?”  “Did you spend 1 hour reading today?”  etc.

It is easy to drift through life and lose track of our goals, especially when it is so easy to waste hours on the internet and not think about your goals & resolutions in your life.   Timewise will help you be accountable to yourself and be reminded about your goals in life so that you can really do what you want to do.
